Change – A Healthier You

It is that time of year when I begin to bug my clients about change after everyone held their ground  during the holidays. Starting the year off with good intentions, concerning our diet and exercise is inevitable. Wherever you look, you run into the newest and greatest workout gear at your local stores and online. The morning news stations are displaying personal trainers that have the latest exercises that you should be doing to get that body you always wanted.  As I watched in awe, I had to ask myself, “who are they targeting”? The millennial’s for sure, because if my clientele tried any of the exercises they would end up at the orthopedist in the first week.

I want to tread lightly, as to not scare away the most timid when contemplating change. If we never ask ourselves some important questions regarding change then we will never know how we feel. “You can not change what you are not aware of,” is a quote that I live by and know to be true. This is usually the first step to making healthier choices when it come to our body. The first step is awareness and assessing “where am I now and where do I want to go”. Then you can create a plan that is right for you.

This is where a wellness coach comes into play, to assist you in reaching your goals. Yes, I am a wellness coach and would love to help you move from where you are today to a healthier you.  I decided to begin with some small questions regarding change to see where you are at right now.
